Dear Robert:
After noticing your ad in Backstage, I took a look at your website and, I must say, I was quite impressed. So, I made an appointment to visit you at your studio. When I arrived you suggested I look through your collection of headshot books before we spoke. I was particularly intrigued by the “Before and After” books (showing the headshots of various actors had prior to their session with you, side-by-side with the headshots you created for them).That pretty much sold me. So, after a half-hour of studying your photos, we sat down and chatted. You told me you wanted to do an experiment with me and create a nine different looks. I was thrilled. We then discussed the character and wardrobe options and came up with TEN distinct looks.
A few days later I was back at your studio–wardrobe in hand–and we proceeded over the next few hours to create a “rogues gallery” of shots and looks. Robert, my session with you was a hoot! You are not only easy to work with but fun to be around. You created such a pleasant, no-stress atmosphere, that you were able to get the best out of me –and it shows in the shots. After the session, we sat down to go over the contacts and I was blown away! I have had my photo taken many times during my career but have never seen results like these. After going over the shots and selecting the ten best, I had test prints made to show my agent. She was thrilled, to say the least, and said she wanted to test market me in ways she hadn’t previously thought of using the wide variety of shots.
Robert: Thank you for creating such a thoroughly enjoyable photo session, for taking such care with me for providing me with such powerful tools for building my career. I feel I am in the best position I have ever been in to take my career to the next level. I will definitely keep you apprised of my progress.
