I have been having my headshots taken by Robert Kim over 20 years!
When I first met him in Los Angeles, Iwas brand new to the business. I was “ still wet behind the ears.” Shooting with Robert was the best thing I have ever done for my acting career. With his head shots I began to work immediately, and haven’t ever stopped. Years later, I was advised by my new agent to go with their headshot photographer. The result of that session were painfully obvious. My calls took a precipitous nosedive, and there was no doubt in my mind that it was the headshots. I had Robert re-take my new ones and not surprisingly, the phone started to ring again. I have never made the same mistake again. I have followed Mr. Kim to four different studios and three different cities— twice in LA, once in Chicago, and twice again in New York.
There are many, many photographers in our industry, but none with the obvious abilityof this man… just a brief look at his website and the dozens of glowing testimonials and letters only prove what I already know -I’ll never use another headshot photographer again. But the best part is knowing that we have built a close professional friendship over the years that will last the rest of my life.
